Emilia Terragni

Associate Publisher at Phaidon Press, London

Emilia Terragni studied art history at the University Ca' Foscari in Venice, and did a Master in Siena on the relationship between Art and Architecture in the 1930’s. Always working between art, architecture and design she joined the Luis Barragan Foundation at the Vitra Design Museum, where she worked as a curator of the Archives of the Mexican architect.

In 2001 she joined Phaidon Press - the world’s premier publisher of books on the visual arts, as a design project editor and she is now Associate Publisher for Architecture, Design and Food titles.

At Phaidon, she founded the design list and then went on to create and develop the culinary list, publishing books that combine lifestyle, food, and hospitality, while being beautiful objects in their own right.

She has taught at the University of Gastronomy in Pollenzo, and she also collaborates with many companies and institutions, giving lectures and developing content, to bring design and food, as tools for social changes, to a wider audience.
