Nicole Meschi is the Senior Director of Nutrition Services at Cupertino Union School District, where she has served as the director for the last eight years. With over 20 years of experience in school nutrition, Nicole has worked in varying socio-economically diverse school districts in California. She has developed and implemented programs like Breakfast in the Classroom, the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Pilot Program, and a robust and compliant à la carte program. Currently, Nicole is working to increase the amount of freshly prepared items offered and has partnered with Brigaid to create recipes, provide staff training, and conduct taste testing for students. Over the years, Nicole has been very involved in the California School Nutrition Association. She has served in many positions at both the local and state levels, including President of CSNA and Public Policy and Legislation Advisor.
